Reception Room
The Reception of this Museum is intended to welcome the visitors and also to present a concise overview of the museologic programme, through the displaying handicrafts, archaeological remains, dyeing products and some documents and pictures referring to the dyeing processes of the wool cloths.
In this area where the public is received also makes available a Shop, with editorial products on sale.
It is worth noticing that the main entrance of Royal Textile Factory is topped by the coat of arms of the king D. José I, a symbol of the state intervention in the construction and management of this structure.
